BALTECH FOAM OIL BALTECH is a traditional wood impregnating oil with high weather protection, excellent resistance to moisture penetration into wood, mechanical resistance, easy paint revitalization. Naturally seeping into the pores of the wood, the wood acquires a darker amber colour over time, which enhances its natural appearance and grain. Flax fermage is suitable as a thinner for fermage paints and oil glass sealants. BALTECH FLAX OIL is made from linseed oil and contains no solvents.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Before application, wood must be clean, dry, well sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues. Wash resinous areas with BALTECH C6000 nitro diluent. Apply BALTECH flaxseed oil in several coats with a time interval between coats. Application may be repeated until the wood absorbs the oil. To improve the impregnation properties, the oil can be heated in a hot water bath. Wipe off any excess oil not absorbed within 30 minutes with a cloth. Safely dispose of absorbent materials (e.g. rags, sawdust) soaked in fermec, there is a risk of spontaneous combustion. Density: approx. 0,930 g/cm³.
Instructions for safe handling:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wear protective gloves. Dispose of contents/packaging by handing over to a person authorised to dispose of waste or to a place designated by the municipality. Storage: store in a dry place. Recommended storage temperature is 5 to 25 °C.
