You get perfect visual effects both with artificial light and with natural light. Silver Sand Primacol Decorative contains special structural additives that create a pattern reminiscent of wind blown sand during application. The product is intended for painting walls and ceilings in interiors. It is ideal for living rooms and children's rooms, corridors, as well as in conference halls, restaurants and hotels. The paint is available in seven ready-made color versions and in a silver base, which can also be colored with any Primacol decorative Colorants.

Performing the effect:

Before starting work, cover unpainted surfaces and prepare the substrate appropriately. The substrate must be: firm, dry, smooth, free of dust, paint and adhesives. Remove any non-cohesive parts and correct any deficiencies.

Then treat the entire surface with a layer of Primacol Decorative Primer using a paint roller. It is an emulsion ready for immediate use, recommended for strengthening the substrate, reducing its absorbency and optimizing its adhesion. A primed wall will be elastic, scratch-resistant and have a constant absorbency. Let the surface prepared in this way dry for 12 hours and then paint it white to unify the color of the base.

Apply two coats of Decobase Primacol Decorative with a paint roller to the dry surface. It is a water-based paint used as a base for creating decorative effects. It is characterized by very good covering abilities and forms a coating resistant to abrasion after drying. Start applying the second layer of paint after the first layer has dried, i.e. after about 3-6 hours. Check the drying status by touch. Let the wall prepared in this way dry for 12 hours.

Carry out painting work at a temperature >5 °C, avoid direct sunlight on the painted surface. Mix SilverSand paint thoroughly before use. Repeat this activity also during work. Apply the product with a flat brush. Depending on the expected effect, you can paint vertically, horizontally, diagonally, in the form of a "tree" or unevenly. The method of painting has an effect on the obtained decorative effect. Carry out the coating in stages by painting smaller parts of the surface (approx. 1 m²) at a time. Make sure that you apply the paint in such a way that smaller and larger grains are formed, as well as free and smooth areas. Attention! Plan well first to create the right pattern. You will get the finished effect after 24 hours.

Attention! Before starting the actual coating, we recommend first doing a test on a small test area to familiarize yourself with the coating technique and to make sure how the final visual effect will look. After finishing the work, ventilate the room until the smell disappears.

We recommend using products from one production batch to paint the entire surface. Otherwise, it is necessary to mix the contents of all packages in one container. The color shown on the packaging may differ from the actual color due to printing options and cannot be a reason for a complaint. To find out the exact color, ask the seller for a swatch with actual coatings.

Silver Sand Primacol Decorative paints provide the possibility of realizing various color designs. To obtain interesting decorative effects, the product can be colored by adding the selected Primacol Decorative Colorant to the paint.
